Becoming an Auditel consultant means you are in complete control of your working life. You can choose your hours, your colleagues and your clients to create the work-life balance that suits you.
Once your business is up and running and you are meeting your income objectives, you can even choose to specialise in one particular area of the Auditel portfolio. For example, you might focus on specific areas of expenditure such as communications or energy, or you could become an expert on ethical purchasing or ‘green’ business. You could even focus entirely on client acquisition, joint venturing with one or more colleagues to deliver the total cost of purchase management service.
In fact, it’s entirely up to you to decide what type of Auditel business you want to build. We’ll help you set goals through our personal and professional development programme but it will be up to you to use the business system to turn these into reality in the way that best suits you.
In fact, you’ll be like any other self-employed entrepreneur, except you’ll have an enormous amount of support and decades of combined experience behind you.
Think of an entrepreneur. Any entrepreneur. Who did you picture? Richard Branson? James Dyson? Karan Bilimoria? Whoever sprang to mind, the chances are it was somebody associated with a ‘big name’ product or service. But an entrepreneur isn’t necessarily somebody who has taken an idea from scratch and turned it into a multi-million pound company. Successful Auditel consultants are every bit as entrepreneurial as the Alan Sugars of this world, only they choose to do it using an established and proven business model.
Buying a franchise – any franchise – is not in itself a guarantee of success. You will still have to put in a lot of hard work to turn your franchise from it’s component parts (i.e. the business model, the training and support, the tools and intellectual property and so on) into a viable business that meets your income and lifestyle goals. It’s a bit like buying a piece of flat-pack furniture: unless you are prepared to take all the bits out of the box, follow the instructions and overcome the inevitable challenges and setbacks, all you will have is a box of wood, some screws and an Allen key.
A love of hard work, persistence and determination are just three of the qualities that successful Auditel entrepreneurs possess. Others include:

“The ability to run my own business with minimal interference and prescriptive guidelines, while also having the back-up support if I needed it, was especially appealing to me. I love the freedom of being able to be close to my wife and two young children and avoiding the commute.”
Chris Baker, Auditel consultant since 1998.
